Charity Shop

The Age Concern Charity Shop is a new venture for Merstham which will benefit local people, the environment and help to support a local charity.

We have created a small retail shop within the Age Concern Merstham Centre, open to the public every Monday, and the first Saturday of the month.

The shop started after the Covid lockdown as a service for our members, many of whom couldn't get out to the shops anymore, so it gave them the chance to fossick around and find a bargain, all the while providing the normal, everyday experience of going to the shops. Since then, it has snowballed, and with new donations arriving every day, there is always a bargain waiting to be found.

Everything is donated and as we don't have the same overheads as other shops the prices are very competitive!
